New Microphone!

Yay! I found a better microphone! It's exactly the same as the one I've been using for Midori, except it has the soft cushy thing at the place you're supposed to speak into. Lol, the soft cushy thing is the dividing line between good recordings and bad recordings.

Wait a minute... does that mean I have to re-record all the voice samples for Midori Dx? And.. my second UTAUloid too? Dang...

Voicebank update

Alright, so I finally did all my UTAUloid preparations for China, except for getting all the reference pictures for the "UTAUloids in China" picture. I'm working on it though. Right now I'm on my laptop. I updated Midori's oto files and a few of her voice samples while on my laptop Dx.. stupid me... but anyway, after waiting for an excruciatingly long time, I finally uploaded her updated voicebank :D! Download can be found on the side bar ^^. I fixed her ri ra ro ru and re and her rya ryu and ryo pronounciations. Also fixed her a (It was seriously bugging me o_o; It sounded so weird!). I inserted better numbers into the oto files for some voice samples,but not all of them. I'll do that in China ok xD?

Ah, and I might not be able to get the official art up yet. I have the lineart though, so no worries. Just need to color it. I'm just really tired from all the file transfers I did last night Dx... took till 4:30 AM!

Weekly Ranking #37 and Magnet Cover

Yes. I am going to post each and every video that Midori is in, on my blog. Even if the songs are ranked #199 x3! It's just that I don't know how to favorite it or whatever you do on Nico... so I'll post here xD! Midori and Asu are in this one. They're only there because (translated by my dad) "They are new music sources." Or something like that. Oh, and congrats to Hikari (Hikari Kuranosuke)! Shizuka Tei's Electric Angel song placed #82 ^w^!!! Also, Midori and Tei's cover of Magnet is up :D! Aaaah I had to wait so long to upload onto Nico D:! There were like.... 148 people before me Dx! This is the first time it's happened!

Summer School's Over and Dreaming Little Bird

Hey guys ;D! Guess what? Today was the last day of summer school xD haha, I entered the exam with a 92-93%. I really hope I did well on the exam DX!

I learned today that it takes me only 1 hour and 15 minutes to study all 8 units for a gr. 11 biology exam o_o;! It was so surprising! When I finished studying, I thought to myself "done already? I MUST have missed something"

Anyway.... the "important" portion of this post. I finished drawing the picture for Asu and Midori's cover of Dreaming Little Bird :D! Here it is!

I found this on Nico. Midori's Toeto song ranking is 139. It's not even supposed to be on there xD! Well, they wanted to introduce her, so I guess they used that video.

Oto.ini File Dilemma

Well guys, it turns out that the oto file for Injune Midori is no where near completion. Yura Honya's .ust files are so perfect that your UTAUloid doesn't really need to have an oto.ini file in order to sing the song well. I guess I'll try some .ust files made by other people and see what changes need to be made to the oto file.

Dark Alice - Midori Version

Yesterday I got my UTAU to sing Dark Alice. I never heard of the song until I got Midori to sing xD! I'm really proud of the cover art I drew :3!

Injune Midori 1.0 Voice Bank Release

I'm proud to say that I'm finally releasing Injune Midori's voice bank! All the hiragana syllables (found on the hiragana chart at Wikipedia) have been recorded, as well as some hiragana that were strangely not listed. She also has some other syllables that allow her to speak Chinese and English, but there's very few so I doubt you can get a whole sentence out of her. Not all of her Japanese syllables have a generated frq file, and the oto.ini file is almost complete (for the Japanese syllables at least). I will finish generating the rest of the frq files and finish filling in the oto.ini file as I make her sing more songs. You can hear examples of her voice here:
